Commander is an Alternate UUniversal Yinguen from Planet Thawn. He is the leading figure of 4 adopted brothers who were involved in a Crythan science project to train unsentient Yinguens to be agents until the entire lab froze during a superstorm, leaving three eggs to hatch with a military instinct and be adopted by normal unsentient Yinguens who learned to be survivors after getting through the rest of the superstorm. Through their first month since the storm cleared, they rescued a normal egg from danger and adopted the hatchling, dubbed Cadet, to survive and leave after all except Cadet discovered their origins in the frozen lab. They go to a space zoo and decide to seek other frozen worlds to find other labs of the same origin and end up joining the Clam Lounge Squadron doing so. He is the AUU version of Skipper.
