Crime Doesn't Pay

The heroes are surprised to see Capper and Chummer showing up as it's revealed that he was chased out thanks to being sold out by the fox they dealt with in Return of Storm King, Mendax, to Klugetown's Kingpin after it was freed of it's crime after the Kluge Roc was reunited with it's eggs, and Verko and Medax have been roped into his debt, and though Capper considers it irony given the trouble he caused for him, it's still a concern as the Kingpin threatens to destroy Klugetown after it was freed from his control, and for the fact that the Guardian Trikto has been captured to keep the Guardians of Harmony off their trail, as Mendax found him a particularly good hostage for costing him his chance to see his father Vulpeca again. Capper and Chummer barely escaped Klugetown with their lives to warn the heroes as it's also revealed by the now de-petrified panther founder of Klugetown Fortuna that the Kingpin was none other than another family member of the Storm King by the name of The Crime Kingpin, who took over much of the criminal underworld across the outside of Equestria, and now, Verko and Mendax, as the result of hiding in the Bottoms of Klugetown after they failed in protecting the Roc's eggs and leaving the town free of his control, has been reduced to be his Grubber-like underlings as part of their newfound debt. The Crime Kingpin intents on causing the biggest crime wave in Equestrian history, which in term will ruin it as a paradise, making a good revenge scheme for his family. Now the misfits need to put a stop to that plan by disrupting his intricate web of power in many other lawless sectors outside Equestria and meet new friends in the process before it is set to motion, but unfortunately, an irresistable bounty on the heroes head has pretty much lured in all three villain teams, the independent villains, and many others, into coming to Equestria to claim that bounty! Our heroes just CAN'T get a break, can they?

Verko: (The camera panned to the lower areas of the column Klugetown was resting on)... WELL, THAT WORKED, NOT AT ALL!!!
Mendax: Sir, trust me, I tried-
Verko: YOU DIDN'T TRY! YOU TRUSTED MINIONS WHO FELL FOR AN OLD-SCHOOL TRICK, AND HAD THE AIM OF THE MOST WORTHLESS MINIONS IN THE MARKET!!! YOU JUST RESULTED IN KLUGETOWN'S FALL AS A CRIMINAL METROPOLIS!!! THE KINGPIN IS NOT GONNA BE HAPPY BECAUSE OF YOU!!!... (Sighs)... You're fired!
Mendax: WHAT?!? ON WHAT GROUNDS?!? I'VE BEEN YOUR BEST CON ARTIST FOR YEARS!!!
Verko: Says the guy who has a tattling pet scorpion! It spilled your intentions IMMEDIATELY! SERIOUSLY, CAPPER WAS MORE SUBTLE THAN THAT!! NO WONDER YOU AND HE BUTTED HEADS WITH EACH OTHER! GET OFF MY PROPERTY, AND I HOPE THAT NOBODY EVER HIRES YOUR SORRY ASS AGAIN! The door's RIGHT HERE! (He opened the door only to find the Crime Kingpin with a magical wine glass with a Collector Crystal stand, black hair, red eyes and details, similar armor to Storm King's, but more criminal-esque detail)
Crime Kingpin: HEEEERE'S THE KINGPIN! (Chuckles)
Verko: (He shrieked like a girl, along with Mendax)
Crime Kingpin:... You two know why I'm here... WHY IS THE ROC GONE BACK TO THE SEA OF CLOUDS WITH IT'S CHILDREN?!?
Verko and Mendax: "..... Do you, want to hear all those words exactly?"
Skully: "Cause ya may very well may not like what you hear."

Outside Verko's Place

Crime Kingpin: "IIIIIIDDDDDDIIIIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTS!!" (His screams caused a lot of comical reactions around Klugetown)

Inside Verko's Place

Crime Kingpin: YOU HAD ONE JOB, AND YOU BLOW IT ALL OVER MY BACK SIDE?!? WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELVES?!?
Mendax:... The Aristocrats? (Verko nudged him comically in the chest) HOOOOooooooooo!!! HEY, JUST TRYING TO BRING LAUGHS!!
Crime Kingpin: THIS IS NO LAUGHING MATTER!!! KLUGETOWN IS OUT OF MY CONTROL THANKS TO YOU!... This, is going to cost you!
Verko:... Like, cash?
Crime Kingpin: YOU ARE BOTH MY NEW STOOGES! YOU ARE GOING TO EITHER GET BACK MY CONTROL OVER KLUGETOWN, AND ENSURE THIS THREAT DOESN'T DO THE SAME AROUND THE WORLD... Or you will NOT like the other choice!
Mendax and Verko winced!
Mendax: "O-o-o-o-o-o-of course, Kingpin sir, your wistom is boundless!"
Skully: "It's actselly the worse thing to ever happen to him."
Mendax: "SKULLY?!"
Crime Kingpin: "It's okay, I don't mind it being the worse thing to happen to you two dipshits, because THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT'S GONING TO BE?! Come with me! I'm sure you don't wanna gimme a reason to feed you to those rambunctious Buzzerrays!"
Verko: "Oh your not gonna make us help Storm King are you? I know he's family, but he's got involved with those filthy demon worshippers?!"
Mendax: "I mean, I can get he's like, your nefpew, but, I doubt we would be so quick to-"
Crime Kingpin: "Relax, relax, I won't do that! Sure, I offered to gather more of the family to helped, but he insisted that he handled it like how Hurri would've handled it! Besides, I got something else in mind for you two halfwits!"
Mendax: OH, THANK GOODNESS-
Crime Kingpin: You two will be my seconds-in-commands AND ensure you learn your lesson in being BETTER than your reports have claimed!
Mendax:... Well... shi- (It cut to the opening)

Capper and Chummer Chased Out[]

Klugetown Airship, Present Day

Capper: (As the intro song played, he and Chummer were following an Abyssinian panther through the halls) Alright, what the heck is going o- (The panther silenced him as they moved on to see new Storm Creatures on the other corner)
Chummer: "...... Caps, something feels REALLY off!"
Capper: "(Sarcasticly) Oh, and your sure that Airships don't usually come with their own Storm Creatures?"
Panther: Would you be quiet? You are both in grave danger! The Crime Kingpin that Verko worked for has a huge bounty on your heads.
Capper: And why are you helping us?
Panther: Save your questions for an opportune time! Just stick to me! (He uses a magic wand to immobilize the Storm Creatures as they rushed by)
Capper: "Oh just my luck! I was finally done with Verko and now the Kingpin's after my tail?!"
Chummer: "The Kingpin's after me? Big mistake! I'm with the Guardians of Harmony!"
Capper: Well he's part of one of their biggest enemies, so not much of a high note.
Chummer: Damn! Why didn't I consider that? (They fought on as the music played and then stopped)
Panther: HALT!! (Then stopped to see Storm Creatures and bandits in their way)...
Capper/Chummer: "AW, NUTS!"
???: Well, well, well, well, well! (An Abyssinian lion came in, as he stood conviently under a hanging piano)... If it isn't the undercover Guardian of Harmony in training, Obex.
Chummer: Wait, what?
Panther (Obex): (Sighs) Fantastic! Juba had to be part of this!
Lion (Juba): That's right, Obex! The Crime Kingpin does have a huge bounty on those two, and given how much you cost me with the Misfortune Malachite, this will do more than restore it.
Capper: Wait... Aren't you the former crime boss of Panthera?
Juba: Not anymore! You have blackface to thank for that and for getting the Misfortune Malachite into the Queen's paws and toppling my business.
Obex: Will you stop calling me that? It's very uncomfortable and racist!
Juba: Why don't you come over here and make me? (He takes out two bayonetted magic wands) I'm armed!
Obex: Fine! (Takes out a bayonet) I will! You two take the escape ship!
Chummer: What about you?
Obex: DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME, JUST WORRY ABOUT YOURSELVES- (Juba attacked as it knocked them apart) GO, NOW!!!
Capper: (He saw the piano)....... Not without you! (Jumps over the storm king kicks Juba back into the face, grabs the wand a fires at the rope, then runs and grabs a surprised Obex!)
Juba: "OW?! OK, FORGET THE BOUNTY!? (Doesn't even realise where he was standing) IT IS PERSONAL NOW?! (The Piano began to fall) I'M JUST GONNA HUNT YOU DOWN JUST FOR KICKS- (The Piano crashes into him and through the floor and right into the engine room, crashing into the engine as an exploudion was seen onto the airship!)"
Chummer: "YOU KILLED JUBA?!"
Capper: "JUST GO!? (The trio gotten onto the boat and escape as the Storm Creatures abandoned ship!)"
The trio escape as the Airship falls down and began to exploud......
Obex: "..... I can't believe, how stupid you were?! I speififcly asked for you to go on without me, AND YET YOU DID THAT?!"
Capper: "Hey, that's what friends do, mac."
Obex: FRIENDS DON'T WIN BATTLES!! THEY'RE TOO DANGEROUS!! All we have room for is allies. And who said I was your friend? Me? I don't think so. You can't just put yourselves in danger like that and make yourselves vulnerable! I only rescued you because it's my duty. You only got in the way.
Chummer: Well, what were we supposed to do, let you die?
Obex: I STOPPED HIM BEFORE, I COULD AGAIN!! YOU WEREN'T NEEDED, AND YOU WERE JUST DEAD WEIGHT THAT NEEDED TO BE SAVED!!! YOU COMPROMISED THE PLAN AND KILL JUBA?! DON'T YOU DARE ASSUME I NEEDED YOU!!
Capper: By the Alicorn Gods, lay off, ya ungrateful allycat!! This is a fellow guardian.
Obex: But I know much more than him even as an independent trainee. He's not even a true guardian. He only became one out of pity. If you think I'll go easy on him because he technically outranks me, then you're dumber than you look.
Chummer:... We help you and this is the thanks we get?
Obex: "YOU CAUSING JUBA'S DEATH WAS NOT PART OF THE PLAN?! All I wanted was some obedience?! And you did this to me?!"
Chummer:... What is your problem? Are we just cannon fodder to you? Practice? A way to get you into the guardians? You think Capper killing Juba would make you look bad? How about calling us a liability? The Guardians of Harmony cherish friendship because of the Head Alicorn God, and-
Obex: You think I care about the ponies? (The two were shocked)... They aren't much to us anymore. They have awful defenses, they waste perfectly-good magic on luxury and parties, and they act like children or teenagers! The Alicorn Gods clearly didn't make them as good as they should've. They failed their own predecessors, so why should anyone care about them if they won't even do something about it? They're just an alliance and nothing more.
Capper: How could you say that? I know them and they are more mature than you give them credit for. There's a pony in the Guardians' Council!
Obex: Nevertheless. They're still not like their predecessors, and are just mortal like the rest of us. And when you have a mortality rate, you can't lollygag and expect to prosper. That's not how life works, and that's why nobody cares about their philosophy of friendship. Have you ever thought about why any land outside their own is not as pure as theirs? Why things like the Storm Clan exist? Friendship is only something that holds you back. Something that weighs you down. That's why I stand alone. That's why I have no friends and only allies. You can't take risks.
Capper: "...... Okay, if your going to be like that, then this is your stop. (Kicks Obex off the boat and causes him to fall screaming into the Sand!)"
Chummer: "Aw gees, Capper?!"
Capper: "Oh come on, he was an asshole?!"
The Boat was seen flying as Obex was left humiliated in the sand....
Obex got his head out and looked angerly!
Obex: "(Grumbles) Of all the indigent, (Grumbles)."

Equestrian Skies.

The Sky Boat made it to Equestria.
Capper: "So, all we gotta do is find Sparkle and we can get some REAL help."
Chummer: "..... Cap, are you sure ditching Obex was a good thing?"
Capper: "Look, booting him out wasn't meant to be an act of ungratefulness, it was an act of him being a racist cunt!"
Chummer: "Look, I don't like what he just said either, but..... What if this backfires on us and Obex tries to turn the Guardians of Harmony against us?"
Capper: "Oh simple. I'll bring up the fact that he said racist remarks and BAM! He can kiss his Guardian dreams good bye!"
Chummer: And is ruining his life and dreams any better? We can't judge him unless we know why he's like that.
Capper: You mean like he judged ponies?
Chummer: UH, NEWS FLASH, MOST PEOPLE OUTSIDE DO THAT ALL THE TIME!!! WE'RE NOT LIKE EQUESTRIA, BECAUSE WE HAVE FAR BIGGER PROBLEMS THAN THEM!! I am not ruining him because you decided to judge him on the outside and hate him for it. I may not know much, but I know that's an offense in Guardian regulations.
Capper: "Aw come on Chums, just because it's a norm doesn't I'm gonna sit around and listen to him."
Chummer: "I'm not asking you to like him or anything, but-"
Capper: We'll discuss this later! Obex is better off alone? Then he can BE alone.
Chummer:... (He got angry and sat down)
Capper: ".... Aw come on, do you want Twily and the others to think we're assusiated with that jerk?"
Chummer: "..... Well, I don't, but-"
Capper: "Then try to look at it in my persective. Had that guy stuck around, he would've bad mouthed the ponies in front of their Princesses, then they'll get their feelings all hurt and wouldn't want to help us!"
Chummer: "Okay, okay, I see what you mean! But I'm just saying that Obex is gonna be an issue now."

Obex Distrupts the Guardians of Harmony's Trust with Chummer[]

The Heroes arrived to the Guardians HQ, but were surprised to see the Elders already present.
Mira Tone: "..... Now, look, Chummer, it is no secret that perhaps Obex admited a, opinionated remark about Equestria, but.... We want to talk to you and Capper..... Privately."
Chummer: "...... (Quietly and angerly) Capper?!"
Capper: "...... Awwww, crap."
Rarity: "..... Capper, did you acted stupid again? Like I mean, MLP Movie, levels of stupid?"
Capper: Look, I know what you're gonna say, but he insulted Halo's race. He insulted the race of my own pony friends. I wouldn't stand by and be talked to like that.
Mira: You do know he's missing, right?
Chummer:... Is that how you found out?
Mira: That and the Queen of Abyssinia reported him missing since the death of former Pantheran crime boss Juba Lionhart. He didn't report back and given you two were able to escape that disguised Storm Clan Espionage ship and were able to trace a transmission from the escape boat you used... I am gravely disappointed in you, Capper! Come with us.
Chummer: Well good luck getting out of this one, BUD! I'm not doing a thing because now I'm a guardian first and a friend second.
Twilight: Chummer, you're also to blame for this.
Chummer: F*** WHAT?! WHAT DID I DO?!
Ephemeris: Well you didn't report back about the matter, you didn't take action, you didn't stand up for him, and you didn't bring up his whereabouts even once. So your not exactly in a better position with us either, Chums!
Chummer:... Well, poop!
Capper: "What comes around, goes around, Guardian."
Chummer: "(Quietly) Don't, push it?!"

Council Room

Capper: Look, I'm sorry! I figrued he had a good sense of direction.
Carnelia: It doesn't matter if he's a good wayfinder, he's still a rookie who stood well against the Storm Clan, and you know since the Storm King's resurrection, the Storm Clan is a #1 priority. You can't just jump to conclusions like that.
Chummer: I tried to tell him, sir!
Virgo: We never gave you permission to speak, Chummer!
Capper: Look, he was-
Halo: That's enough excuses, Capper! Obex Blackberry was a troubled fighter who deserved better respect than that. It's too common for outsiders to have a biased opinion on us Equestrians. He was right about many things. Friends CAN be a liability, but it shouldn't be taken for granted. Many rookies start out that way, and for good reason. Since the Alicorn Gods died out, and ponies centered themselves into Equestria, the rest of the world went on it's own. But it doesn't mean they didn't ignore them entirely. Ponies are essentially the Alicorn Gods if they were mortals. Mortals are and always have been flawed. Obex and you are no different. The reason he is like that is because he lost a friend who was also somewhat a liability and the pain was just too near. He stands alone because he's afraid of having others end up like his friend.
Capper: Ohhhh...
Chummer: Called it.
Syntax: You see, we united because we were born from the first land invasion since Equestria's formation. We were a ruined society for eons until over 80 years ago. We all felt against the world due to harsh conditioning. We founded and created Questra as a land that Equestria, ponies, and the Alicorn Gods can be proud of. A land where every form of life can be free from suffering and despair. We bring troubled souls here to boost hopes. That's why we exist and that's why threats like the Storm Clan try to take us out. We spread the original customs of this world and blend it with reality so we don't have to put up with cruel reality. Other lands just aren't like Equestria, and they need enlightenment. Threats like the Storm Clan want us destroyed so we can't pose a threat to their goals.
Historia: It's too true. I should know. I am a history sprite.
Propertius: But it's never always easy. Life is never, nor should be, easy. Utopia is just as bad as dystopia. Having too much peace is just as bad as too much chaos. It's a message we struggled to spread to this very day. But you, Mr. Dapperpaws- (Historia chuckled)... Are one of the many examples of the obstacles that stand in our way. Judging someone without getting the context has destroyed friendships before, and even went as far as causing wars.
Capper: "But you do realise how toxic a guy with his attatude would be to the guardians, right? His atttude is worse then typical rookie arragance?!"
Mira Tone: "Oh I'm sure it wasn't TOO agravious."
Capper: "..... HE SAID PONIES WEREN'T FIT TO BE THE ALICORN GODS SUCCESSORS?!"
Silence......
Historia: "......... Okay, maybe he IS that bad."
Cirrus: ".... Okay, you made your point. Maybe Obex wasn't exactly, Guardian Material. But, still keep in mind that it's not exactly fair of you to expect others to have such an ideal opinion of Equestrians as you do."
Capper: "But-"
Mira Tone: "Please do not deem us as arragont. We promsie you that an insult like that would NOT go unpunished. Not even with new blood, would we tolerate such insults, whether they are products of current geopolitical climents or not. You have my word that the Guardians are not forgiving to arrgance of that such level."
Cirrus: "However, that doesn't mean you two are off the hook yet! If Obex needs to be given comuppence for disrespectful tainting behavior, I rather it be by our hands, not yours! Chummer, you and your former crime partner are yo retrive Obex back tot he Guardians. Else I would be force to break my son's heart and recind ANY hope of you being a true guardian!"
Capper: "Tch. He'll just call in that martical law thing again."
Ephemeris: "That has been amended to not include when the current leader acts on personal, emotional, or bias preference to enact such a rule. (Capper became surprised)..... Oh come now, we wouldn't be very good heroes if we don't learn from such over-sights."
Capper: "..... Are you.... Are you saying your gonna boot out Chummer, OVER SOME ASSHOLE?!"
Halo: "Look, I'm not happy about this either, since he assentually insulted me when he insulted my race, but-"
Capper: "THEN WHY, ARE YOU ALLOWING THESE MORONS TO STEP ON YOUR PEOPLE'S DIGNITY LIKE THAT?!"
Halo: "BECAUSE I DON'T EXACTLY HAVE A CHOICE IN THE MATTER, YOU MANGEY KLUDGETOWN CAT, I-"
Mira: Halo, let me..... She means..... Because it's not the first time it happened. This problem is almost as old as Equestria itself. Lack of political correctness has always been a universal issue. It's just hard to see unity and peace in a land that has little to none. We have been insulted too many times to count. Our punishments for not respecting a race vary. Now, again, Obex's great disrespect is beyond unpardonable, but, we are saying that it wasn't equilly fair of you to expect everyone to automaticly have such a kind opinion, Capper. Alot of lands have yet to understand Equestria's deeper meanings beyond it's peaceful utopian setting and, "Bubbly" natives. They need a chance to see ponies beyond their cute exterior.
Carnelia: "And frankly, pushing a nay sayer off a flying boat and into a desert, doesn't exactly help things! It'll only cement that attatude of his!"
Capper: "Well had I brought to Equestria, he would've-"
Mira Tone: "Fair is fair, yes.... His atttude would've been most unwelcome to the Equestrians and would've made you and Chummer look bad. We haven't forgotten this. All we ask is that you bring Obex back and let us handle it."
Capper: "(Dejected and deadpan) And how do I know you won't just give him a slap on the wrist?"
Hoag: "Oh trust us on this Capper, Halo would NEVER let us hear the end of it if we pardon him for any reason! We know when to limit our admiration of what those like Obex have to offer if they don't have an ideal attatude."
Chummer: Cap, let's just find Obex. And YOU are going to apologize for being a d***.
Capper: I'm not saying a thing until he apologizes to me.
Chummer: Cap, you want to make me look bad in front of these guys? Let's not tear ourselves apart again.
Capper: I didn't say I wasn't going to get him back. I said I wasn't apologizing for being a d***. It's his fault more than ours.
Chummer: HOW?! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO TOOK IT TOO PERSONALLY!!! He's practically starving out there with nowhere to go. You're the one more guilty here.

Capper: We were orphans on the streets, Chummer! We may be Abyssinians, but what have they ever done for us besides leave us in the streets to steal and do rotten things? We grew away from Abyssinia before we went to Klugetown.
Chummer: But that doesn't mean we shouldn't shut ourselves from them.
Capper: I'm not. I just don't want to be among them because what's the point? We may still be viewed as criminals there, and we never knew our parents.
Chummer: SO YOU'RE JUST REPLACING ABYSSINIA WITH EQUESTRIA?!
Capper: MAYBE I AM!!! (Everyone was surprised)... YOU HEARD ME!!
Halo:... Capper?
Capper:... Look, it's not what you think. It's just... (Sighs)... Ever since I lost Chummer, I thought I would be stuck in Klugetown forever. I thought I was beyond hope. By selling the Mane Six to Verko, I reminded myself of what I had lost. I had come to appreciate them for their kindness and spirit. Before then, I thought the same thing Obex did about ponies. But by seeing they had problems too, including bad social weaknesses, and by watching them act more adult and inspiring that's their behavior let on... I was clearly wrong. Since losing Chummer, I didn't know how to have friends and maintain a good trust in them. But Equestria? What better way to learn about friendship than the ones who founded it? To hear them being insulted in a way like that? It was just SICK! The ones who I put faith and trust in, insulted after so much of a difference they made in past missions, either by the Mane Six or them and the Lodgers, was not tolerable to me. Yes it won't spread as quickly as it should... But it should for someone under the tutelage of you guys. How long has he even been with you?
Historia: Almost as long as the Crime Kingpin had been in power.
Capper: So he should've known better than that by now. That's why I feel he's more guilty than us, and THAT'S why he must apologize first. So we'll get him back, but he needs to acknowledge how wrong HE was. And if he doesn't, you guys BETTER keep to your end of the bargon of ditching his ass?!
Cirrus: "Alittle profine, but.... Very well. If Obex can't resign his, feelings about Equestrians, then a Guardian to be he shall be no more."

Crime Kingpin's Meeting With Mendax and Verko[]

Crime Kingpin's Palace

(Mendax): (He and Verko appeared on a blue fire view similar to that with Tempest and Storm King in the movie)... Your excellency!
Crime Kingpin: Mendax, you worthless canine! I was beginning to think you and Verko were PURPOSEFULLY neglecting my calls.
(Mendax): Wha- neglect YOU?!? (Laughs) Sir, please, never in a million years! We're just... Kinda in the middle of something.
(Skully): "Actselly they were purposely ignoring you because the Storm Clan's a real piece of shi-"
Mendax covered Skully's tiny scorpian mouth!
(Mendax): "(Nerviously laughs)..... Scorpians and their dry sense of humor.... Am I right?"
(Verko): "(Sarcasticly) Nice save, halfwit."
Crime Kingpin: Oh, I'm SO sorry, Mendax! I know EXACTLY how it feels to be interrupted! Just this morning I met with a client, whose VERY interested in seeing our new petrification orb, UNTIL THE BLOODY THING EXPLODED IN HIS HANDS AND TURNED HIM TO STONE!!!!
(Mendax): Oh, I am SO sorry to hear that, sir! Perhaps, you should take it up with your experts!
(Skully): "He means piss off, that ain't our problem- (Gets covered again!)"
Crime Kingpin: Oh, I most certainly did! In fact, I took it up with a spokesperson stationed in Klugetown! THEY seem to believe that Capper and his... Allies, are responsible for the incident, as they raided our best magic labs! Last I checked, YOU are responsible for THEM!
(Verko): I assure you, we're taking care of the situation!
Crime Kingpin: Are you? When I hired you two, I was promised perfection! I was told, that you were the best! Verko? Your manipulation and control of 3/4s of the criminal activity in Klugetown specified that you had the smarts to pull this off. And Mendax? The Crime Kingpin: "YOU PIECES OF SHIT?! I'LL KILL YOU BOTH?!"
Verko and Mendax ran off as the Crime Kingpin tried to get them, but already he started to cramp up!
