The Hundred-Year Grox War is an intergalactic battle against the Galactic Federation and the most feared and hated race in the UUniverses: the Grox of Spore. Lasting over 156 years, and killing 600 billion people, this war was one of the most intense the GFeds have ever dealt with. The war started when the Grox got naturally angry during a ruined summit with the Galactic Federation, and the mere conclusion the Grox went to at that summit made the GFeds convinced that the Grox are a sociopathic race that has no hope for redemption as the only reason they wipe out races is because they refuse to share their cultures and ways. Thus, a war broke out that killed billions on either side. The Galactic Federation colonies and worlds were exhausted of resources in efforts to fight against the Grox, and went into poverty, races formed rebellions against the Grox, propaganda went to focusing on the war, anarchy broke out on multiple worlds, starvation and disease broke out, and the Grox did whatever they wanted with the races they fought, either enslaving them, putting them into concentration/labor camps, assimilating them into mindless fighters, and doing so under the threat of destroying their planets. Planets were destroyed regardless of the best protection. It wasn't until the war finally ended when the Galactic Federation finally found sensitive information as to the clues on where to find the Staff of Life, which was a technological creation of Evolution Masters which posed a legitimate threat to the Grox themselves, as it had the power to give their poisonous worlds an oxygen-based atmosphere and biosphere, which they are unable to survive on. When the final battle ended with the Staff of Life nearly being found, the Grox Emperor had no choice but to surrender, as continuing any further would be catastrophic and end in failure. The GFeds declared that the terms of their surrender were to never attack Galactic Federation worlds ever again, and 'keep their selfish reputations to themselves'. Since then, the war left a serious impact on the people of the Galactic Federation worlds, as the trauma was too much.
