Living Nightmares

The Heroes Act and the Lodgers are forcibly dragged into a new AUU mission by a mysterious malnourished child wearing a bizarre yellow hooded arm and legless jumpsuit and possessing mysterious powers named Zixen, along with so many spider-legged gnome-headed creatures called Gromes, and say that though they have held back their big threat well, they have unexpectedly lost thanks to some unknown force calling itself Ugnoramus. The heroes have been dragged onto a planet called Symbolia, which is covered mostly by gray oceans dominated mostly by living algae and color-changing plankton, and aquatic centipede-leeches, rocky islands with dark cities, and is most noted for having a population of segregated giants and dwarf people which is actually the result of island dwarfism and otherworldly people. The giants have dominated much of it, but what grosses out the heroes is that the giants are all deformed and do grim things like process the meat of the dwarfs, which are actually more handsome or pretty. Worse, most of the giants have dwindled intelligence and are extremely fattened and act like cattle. Zixen, though she is mute, explains that the world was once ruled by The Princess, real name lost to time, who was once extremely vain and loved her looks, but was cursed by Ugnoramus, an amoral envious goddess of ugliness who was murdered long ago by the Princess's family after inhumane and cruel torture and was denied aid from the Princess' family. As revenge, Ugnoramus cursed the Princess into being extremely ugly and even cursed all mirrors on the planet to have a sentience of their own, all so that she could never enjoy beauty again, while also causing the planet's current state. The Princess now lives commanding a floating island-like vessel called The Mouth, as The Princess' rage drove her to develop powers too unknown even to her and deform her entire kingdom and much of the population into a caste system of giant ugly drones. But she could not be near her own subjects because her power came at a cost: it drained life force to work, and thus she often needed sacrifices to replenish her powers. This in turn drove her power-hungry, building the Mouth as her new castle, which looked like a giant head, island, and submarine combined. Civilian-class giants, called Visitors, come to feast on the meat with-grimly-unmentionable origin. Her three assistants, The Cooks & The Cleaner, keep order in the Mouth. Though as the Visitors feast, The Princess fed with her own powers. But they also abducted and did unmentioned things to children when a prophecy was foretold about children being the only things that can cleanse the Princess' heart because she never got the chance to have a child thanks to her ugly curse. But the child had to be the purest of pure. Zixen has discovered that she was meant to be that child, but Ugnoramus has finally shown herself and stopped her before she could fulfill the prophecy, and even made it look like the prophecy was a lie to everyone on Symbolia, and cursed Zixen with dark power so that her own purity could never save the Princess. Now it's up to the heroes to stop the envious and vengeful Ugnoramus and help Zixen fulfill the prophecy, but this will be one of their most challenging missions, cause on top of being dark, it is also stomach-cunningly unpleasant.
