Princess Arixie Shadowgem, known as the Princess of Self, is an Alternate UUniversal mythological being from Planet Chronicus. She is cat-like princess from a kingdom that descended from the neighboring planet of Majiborn, and came from a Sujimusian fairy tale called The Dark Warrior. In the fairy tale, though the focus isn't on her, Arixie was a rule-breaking girl who had a crush on the main focus, a carefree knight named Cremble and was raised by royalty and after having been fed up with her constant duties and orders from her strict and somewhat abusive father and causing an incident that ruined the reputation of her kingdom, she was sent to a reform school as punishment and developed abandonment issues, becoming a black market lord out to cause a revolution, but changes her mind when Cremble comes by under a dark shadow infection turning him slowly into a ghost of pure shadow and dark aether escapes from her kingdom to tell her that her father was murdered in the hands of a dark wizard named Zhadow and was told to give her a note that explained that her father treated her this way because he wanted to help her learn best and apologizes for not showing it and had Cremble take care of her, inspiring the touched Arixie to turn the revolution into a resistance against Zhadow and his semitangible Shadow Shoguns. She found the remains of her family and learn that Zhadow plans to open a hole to a dimension of unlimited omnipotent magic of indescribable power, giving him the power to rule the AUU, placing a bounty on Arixie after discovering she was her own mother's reincarnation as her mother was a pure warrior who saw the same things he did in the dimension and aimed to keep it's power safe while using it responsibly with a native crystal, and thus was his mortal enemy who came too close to ending his threat for good and later dying at childbirth, thus she was secretly the only one who could stop him, going to extreme lengths to separate her from her lineage and destiny including manipulating his father into sending her away and destroying the crystal. She obtained a new crystal after being stranded in the dimension, and escaping barely with her life. In the final battle to shut the rip in spacetime, Arixie loses her entire family, much of her friends and reform school mates, and almost loses Cremble to his shadow infection, but discovers that the hooded Zhadow was dying with his powers becoming entirely reliant on his own life forces unless he could access the dimension, a curse placed on him by Arixie's mother, rendering him a disfigured mummy aiming to do anything to get the power of the dimension. She eventually defeats him by casting the same curse after Zhadow aimed to accelerate his infection, slowly causing him to wilt away and die. She uses a hex on Cremble to try and cure him of the shadow infection, slowly crumbling mentally blaming herself for the destruction of everything, but the hex works and after Cremble reassures her it wasn't her fault, the two got married later and rebuilt the kingdom. She is an expert at charms and hexes, and has a seriously negative mentality but has a lot of purity that makes her a grand and powerful addition to The Fantasy Council.

Story History[]

The Dark Warrior was written by Sujimusian storywriter Ijius Dostimata based around his own personal experiences with growing up and the process in which he became an adult through his own hardships in reform school and his own relationship with his parents, and passed this story on his own fantasy character, Arixie, a name he made up and then discovered was an actual name which meant 'lost soul'. In the original stories, she was the primary focus and portrayed as a former princess and rebellion leader who overthrew her own kingdom and put it under tyranny, only for her to be overthrown by Zhadow, who was originally her uncle, who killed her and took over everything, only for her to resurrect herself thanks to an untold connection to her mother's spirit, inhabiting the rejuvenated corpse of her mother, and killing him, but at the cost of giving up the man he loved, Cremble. The story was left with a half-happy ending with Arixie being alone and ruling, but finding courage for another hopeful future, even getting a sequel story about Cremble returning as a monster that had to be killed. In modern interpretations, the fairy tale was given much happier endings involving Arixie and Cremble getting their own individual story arcs, and defeating Zhadow together, and revealing a more tragic side to Zhadow and why he does what he does. In some iterations, both Arixie and Cremble die and become spritual rulers, and others the entire kingdom dies and becomes a spiritual kingdom. The Dark Warrior was thus known as one of the classical fairy tales that has gone through the most changes than any other fairy tale. This resulted in a final iteration which is now the accepted version in which Arixie turns from a rebellion leader against her neglectful and abusive father into a resistance leader out to fight against Zhadow, while also helping to cure Cremble's curse, with the two of them succeeding and getting married as the king and queen of their kingdom.
