Spyro and The Lodge meet a mouse named Ms. Brisby, who is trying to move out of a plowing field without letting her ill son Timothy outside in his illness. They have to find a way to help Ms. Brisby accomplish this before the field is plowed. On the adventure they learn about a biological facility called NIMH which gave the rats they meet high intellegence, which could also have the power to help Ms. Brisby with her problem.
